Science Olympiad is an affiliate (rights-granted) program of Science Olympiad Inc., headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, USA. What began in Lagos State  (2012) as an in school program is now becoming one of the premier science competitions in the nation, providing rigorous, standards-based challenges to nearly 300 teams in some states.

We host tournaments annually on college campuses and hold professional development Coaches’ Orientation workshops  that showcase innovative science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Form a team and join through your State Chapter today!

  • Elementary Science Olympiad (ESO)

    These are the prime years for parent volunteers.  It seems like every week you’re in the classroom, helping with math games or chaperoning a field trip.  Science Olympiad offers a different parent volunteer opportunity

    Developing hands-on, standards-aligned STEM content with industry and education partners Providing volunteers and mentors a platform to share subject-matter expertise in relevant STEM topic areas. Creating opportunities for student teamwork, problem solving and collaboration.

There are many ways to become involved in Science Olympiad – Coach a team, judge an event, direct a tournament, compete on your school team, serve on the Board of Directors, donate your time, contribute funds.
